Read the passage from the american plague. alexander hamilton felt the president could indeed move congress. after all, hamilton reasoned, the government would not automatically cease functioning if an enemy army captured the capital. why wouldn't the same principle apply in the case of a devastating natural disaster, such as a plague? but thomas jefferson and james madison disagreed and could not be budged from their position. during the formation of the federal government, they argued, individual states had been extremely wary about giving away too much of their governing power to any future president. why is this passage best defined as a cause? because it explains the relationship between washington, hamilton, and congress because it explains the relationship between washington, hamilton, jefferson, and madison because it explains the results of washington’s uncertainty about moving congress to philadelphia because it explains what produces washington’s uncertainty about moving congress to philadelphia

Answer:
Anger, Defiance and Outrage
Explanation:
Anger, Defiance and Outrage is the speaker’s tone or attitude toward the subject of oppression.
What is oppression?Oppression is the malicious or unfair use of force, frequently done in the name of political authority or cultural contempt.[a] It has to do with punishment, class system, and regimentation.
Depending on how it is used, oppression can be overt or covert. When an injustice focuses or disproportionately affects some groups of individuals rather than all members of society as a whole, it is referred to be oppression.
Although some scholars provide evidence of many forms of oppression, such as social oppression, no paradigm or terminology that is universally recognized has yet been developed to represent oppression in its entirety.

Can someone please help me in finding our what the title of this book is?!
I read this book a couple years ago and it was really good, but I can't remember the name of it. It was about this young girl with flaming red curly hair who lived as a peasant. This girl made friends with a prince, I believe, but that friendship was strained when the prince didn't acknowledge her in front of his friends. Later from the incident with the prince, the girl goes home only to find out that she was adopted and her real father was some nobleman that gave her away after her mother passed from giving birth to the girl. The girl is then sent to live with her father who treats her coldly, along with his new wife and step daughters. However while her father is dismissive of the girl, his wife and step daughters were worse towards her out of spite. The only one who was kind to the girl was one of the step daughters that was mute. One day the wife locks the girl in a closet but the mute girl let her go. Later the prince from her childhood comes to where the girl was living after searching for her for years. After looking into some magic mirror he sees a warrior with hair of fire waving a white flag in a battlefield. The prince recognizes the warrior as the girl and finally sees her again.

I can’t remember the last time I got a good night’s sleep. I keep waking up because I’m so stressed about my math class. I just toss and turn, thinking about the next question I’ll get wrong when the teacher calls on me. When the morning alarm goes off, I’m exhausted, and by the time math class rolls around, I can barely keep my eyes open. Help!
1. Identity (figure out) what you think is causing the person’s stress. ?
2. How is the situation affecting the student's body?
3. Provide one or two ways for reducing their stress. ?
Answer:
Answers below :)
Explanation:
1. Being afraid of failure and be called out is the reason for the persons stress. They state, “thinking about the next question I’ll get wrong when the teacher calls on me.” This shows they are afraid of failing and getting the questions wrong, and they are also afraid of the teacher calling on them when they don’t know the answer and probably the feeling of shame that will come with it.
2. The situation is causing the student to lose sleep, making their body not have energy, and their mind sluggish, causing them to do worse and just wanting to sleeping during school. “ I keep waking up because I’m so stressed about my math class.” This further shows that the situation is harming the person mentality with stress, which causes them to hurt physically as they have no energy and their mind/body is sluggish and weak.
3. Two ways to reduce the stress are 1. Be prepared in advance, study and review the topics your learning and reach out for help. This will help you not be stressed because you will know the topics. 2. Take time for yourself by relaxing and taking time to not think about the stuff that worries you. Also make sure to exercise, so when it’s time for bed your body and mind are already tired (in a good way) and get a good nights rest.

Which sentence best shows the writer’s choice to use reflection in the narrative?
Bring on the Beets
This is a draft of a student's narrative essay.
My dad used to say there aren't really foods he doesn't like, just foods he hasn't liked yet. I'm inclined to agree with him because there's a clear line of demarcation in my life: days of beet disdain and beet delight.
Have you ever had a yellow beet? Me neither, until an innocent visit to Atwoods Café on an otherwise ordinary day. The lunch crowd buzzed as I sat at a table for two near the door, surveying the menu until I landed on a list of appetizing ingredients: Bibb lettuce, asparagus, goat cheese, pistachios, and . . . yellow beets with a lemon dill vinaigrette. Dressing on the side and hold the beets. That was my first inclination.
"What can I get for you today?" my server asked.
"I'd like your Bibb lettuce salad with dressing on side and no beets, please," I replied.
"Have you ever had yellow beets?" my server inquired, peering over the rim of his glasses like my dad.
"Actually, no," I replied sheepishly. "It's a texture thing—they seem so slimy."
"Ours are delicious. Give them a try and, if you don't like them, I'll bring you a beet-free salad." And he was off before I could object.
Let me tell you, yellow beets are beautiful! They're a vibrant, golden yellow that brightens a plate like sunshine. I'm no culinary expert, but when food looks good, it tastes better, right? These yellow beets sure did. They were smooth, not slimy, and mildly sweet, not so earthy, though they grew to fullness underground. This was my moment of conversion. My delight in yellow beets extended beyond the walls of Atwoods as I sought this delicious root vegetable on other menus, in recipes, and at farmer's markets.
I have learned there really aren't foods I don't like, just foods that I haven't liked yet and, who knows? Maybe I'll give bananas a second chance.
The sentence that best shows the author's choice of reflection is "I have learned there really aren't foods I don't like, just foods that I haven't liked yet".
